Here at the Job Center - We Staff For Factory and Warehouse Positions

Here at the Job Center "We will find you a job with no charge to you!"

Job Center is a well-established, family owned and operated, Michigan based temp to hire service, we have been providing staffing services to Detroit and the surrounding areas since 1983 and we have helped many people find full-time employment.

We staff for a wide variety of companies throughout the area and our typical positions are general labor/light industrial based work, which consists mostly of factories & warehouses, production lines and similar. Positions include, but are not limited to, packing & sorting, shipping & receiving, cleaning/janitorial work, drivers helpers, refuse & recycling, and assembly, as well as more skilled trades such as welders, torchers, Hi-Lo drivers, and CNC machine operators.

Our jobs are typically full-time positions, usually Monday through Friday, sometimes including weekends depending on the company, and we staff for all three shift.

We are a "temporary to hire agency", once you have worked for one of our companies for a specific length of time the company has the option to hire you in as a permanent employee!

Are you thinking to yourself "I need a job?", "This sounds great!", well look no further, we are one of the top recruitment agencies in the area offering temp to hire services, read some of the 5-star reviews people have left us over on our testimonials page.

How To Apply For Our Jobs

We take applications in our offices Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, No Appointment Needed! We do not currently offer an online application process, instead, we prefer to meet you in person, think of it as more of an interview than an application and your first chance to make a great impression with your potential future employer.

We all know it can be difficult when applying for a job. You may be asking yourself, what should I wear, how should I behave, what should I bring? The friendly staff here at the Job Center are ready to help you and we advise that when you come in you be dressed professionally, smart casual is fine with us. Please remember however this is a job interview not a night out with friends, so arriving looking at your best, bringing everything you need (including a pen), limiting your cell phone use and remembering to watch your language, will go a long way toward making that great first impression. Be polite, we try to be! Don't be afraid to speak up and ask us questions if you are unsure about anything, after all, we are here to help you!

Visit our contacts page for more information with regards to our office locations, detailed driving directions, and contact numbers.

Coming in to apply at the Job Center is a great experience, our warm friendly staff will greet you with a smile and assist you with filling out the application, ensuring you know all our procedures. When you come in all you need to bring with you is your valid ID (State ID, Drivers License or Passport) & your Official Social Security Card (please note: we do not accept birth certificates in place of a social security card or any ID that has expired).

Unfortunately we are unable to accept photocopies and do need the official documents themselves (we do accept the temporary paper ID/License as long as it has not expired), so if you don't currently have the required ID documents or your ID has already expired, please be sure to obtain new ones and wait for them to come in the mail if needed; so you have them in your possession, before coming in to see us. We would hate to have to turn you away and waste a trip.

You may also, but are not required to, bring in a printed copy of your current resume, if you have one.

The application process is quick, depending on how fast you write you could be done in as little as 15 minutes!

Please take note: It is most important that you have a working phone number that we are able to contact you on directly, and that you can use to check in with us on a daily basis, to mark yourself down as available. Should a job become available and we are unable to get in touch with you right away, for any reason, we will then have to move on to the next person on our list so that we can promptly fill the open position and as such it may take us longer to find work for you.

It is also advisable that you program our number into your phone once you have applied so that you know right away that it is the Job Center calling and you don't miss out!
